Sliding Bearings

Sliding Bearings are used within tube or ducting systems.

They support pipes while enabling free movement through the bearing to accommodate build, mechanical and thermal discrepancies and changes.

Our unique Sliding Bearings comprise carbon slide pads mounted on springs within a light-weight, high strength housing.

The pads have been designed to minimise friction and heat transfer between the pipe and sliding bearing whilst the springs have been designed to accommodate pipe ovality and mis-alignment as well as axial and lateral movements.
